About Rockley

The village of Rockley is located approximately 36km from Bathurst and 250km from Sydney. According to the latest census the population is 225 people. At its peak there were around 3000 people living in the area, after the turn of the century the copper mine closed causing people to move away from the area.

The village was first established as farm land and named after the village of Rockley in Wiltshire England.
